Spend the day at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards, with a club run, wine tasting, brunch and / or a picnic, a collectables market, and an alpaca farm.

Please see the attached file for the Meeting place at Beenleigh (with a Google Maps link), and travel details. 

It is planned to depart the Beenleigh Tavern at 7.30, for the run of about 1 hour to O'Reilly's.

This is not a navigation or speed event, just a pleasant country drive and lunch.

We will have further details of the reserved parking and brunch time next week, once we get an idea of RSVP numbers.

If you wish to shop at the collectibles market, it would be a good idea to bring cash as some of the stall holders do not have EFTPOS.

Should the weather forecast be for rain, we will cancel the run and postpone it for the next market date, probably in November.

Depending on numbers, we could arrange for a 2 or 3 departure times after brunch and shopping, for homeward bound convoys.

We invite you and your family to come and experience all that we have to offer at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards. Visitors are often surprised when they discover that we offer much more than just our fabulous wines and tastings at the cellar door.
The extensive grounds that stretch along the banks of the Canungra Creek are perfect to enjoy one of our delicious picnic baskets. We provide everything, including wooden cutlery and disposable crockery, so you have nothing more to do except sit back, relax and enjoy.
Our 165 year old historic homestead 'Killowen' is is open for picnic baskets and gourmet pizzas everyday – with local musicians playing creekside and delightful cafe style lunches available every weekend.

Vintage Brocante is a Vintage/Antique Collectables Market that is only held twice a year, it's at the O'Reilly's Vineyard and is set up along the banks of the Canungra River. It's needs a pretty early start to get the bargains and to avoid the rush, although O'Reilly's have said they will reserve places etc for us.
Canungra is a relatively easy drive from Brisbane, no more than 70 mins depending on where you start.

I would propose meeting at Beenleigh at about 7.00am for a 7.30am departure to arrive about 8.45. Understand that's pretty early so O'Reilly's have said they will do a brunch for us instead of lunch.

There is also an alpaca farm on the vineyard grounds. If anyone wants to feed and / or take an alpaca for a walk, please see this link.

After that if anyone was interested, we could continue to Mt Tambourine (if its still there) 18 mins away and have a Devonshire Tea and head home.

There are two options for the menu, they will reserve an area for us to park for the day.
Option 1 a table on the veranda for the menu above.
Option 2 they can reserve an area down by the creek for a picnic.
